As one carefully compares sound Biblical doctrine and the
God of the Bible with the teachings/literature of Freemasonry and the god of Freemasonry
it becomes obvious that the two religions are anathema to one another. When we take the
time to prayerfully study it out, we find that Biblical Christians and Freemasons simply
do not worship the same God. In fact Christianity and Freemasonry are mutually exclusive
religions.
Like all Non-Christian/Non-Judeo religions, Freemasonry worships Satan as an "Angle
of Light" (a counterfeit god). While this is hard for a mason to accept, (some Masons
may well be true Christians that are simply ignorant of Freemasonry's doctrines) when we
carefully check Masonic writings we find that the god of Freemasonry is "The Great
Architect of the Universe" which is defined by Freemasonry's own apologists as a God
that supersedes all other gods of all other religions, including Jehovah the Judeo
Christian God of the Bible. This results in an Inclusive Religion teaching that all
religions are equal in stature and truth. That there is one god (JAM
2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and
tremble.) and many paths and whichever path we choose is okay. Masons must
profess to believe in "a" god, but any god will do. Therein lies the problem.
Contrary to Freemasonry:
1. The God of the Bible is a jealous God
EXO 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,
EXO 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of
the house of bondage.
EXO 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
EXO 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that
is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the
earth:
EXO 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God
am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third
and fourth generation of them that hate me;
2. He is the only true God:
DEU 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
3. All but Christians and Jews worship Devils (Satan) as an Angel of Light:
1CO 10:20 But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to
devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
2CO 11:14 ... for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
4. There is only "ONE WAY" to be saved (not one god many paths)
JOH 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto
the Father, but by me.
ACT 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under
heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
5. Christians are called to unashamedly evangelize the world (Freemasons are expressly
forbidden to evangelize among the members - read the introduction to the Masonic Bible)
MAR 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and
sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the
glory of his Father with the holy angels.
LUK 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of
me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own
glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.
ROM 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the
gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;
to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
ROM 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed;
because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto
us.
ROM 9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay
in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be
ashamed.
ROM 10:11 For the scripture saith,
Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
MAT 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
MAT 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I
am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
MAR 16:15 And he said unto them, Go
ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
MAR 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not
shall be damned.
The problem is that the majority of "Christians" in Freemasonry have 1. never
read/studied the Bible or 2. never read/studied the doctrines of Freemasonry or 3. not
studied either. Once one understands the underlying doctrine of both one must come to the
conclusion that one is either a Mason, or he is a Christian, but there is no way that a
person can be both. As I said before, the belief systems are mutually exclusive. Two
opposing "truths" cannot both be truth. One is true and one is a lie.
JOS 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will
serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the
flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we
will serve the LORD.
It remains my sincere prayer that our Lord Jesus Christ will open the eyes of Freemasons
that call themselves "Christian" and turn them back to the truth. That they will
make the choice that so many former masons have made on coming to Christ. Resign this
false religion and embrace Christ fully.
In closing, Yes, many Freemasons may well be truly saved, but if they are I put to them
Paul's admonition: 1CO 10:21 You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons
too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord's table and the table of demons.
Think about it.
