This Weeks Message- (scripture taken from King James Version) "With Ever Drop Of His Blood" But Christ came as
High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not
made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not
with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place
once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. For
if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean,
sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who
through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience
from dead works to serve the living God? And
for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the
redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may
receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. For
where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is in force after men are dead,
since it has no power at all while the testator lives.
Therefore not even the first covenant was dedicated without blood. For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the
people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, scarlet
wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people, saying,
This is the blood of the covenant which God has commanded you. Then likewise he sprinkled with blood both the
tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry. And
according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of
blood there is no remission. Therefore it was
necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but
the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Christ has not entered the holy places made
with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the
presence of God for us; not that He should offer Himself often, as the high priest enters
the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another-He then would have had to suffer
often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has
appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so
Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To
those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for
salvation. (Heb 9:11-28) As it is written, without
shedding of blood there is no remission. In
the days of old, once a year the high priest would enter into the most Holy place to make
atonement for the sins of the people. This was done in a very precise, and organized
manner. Every detail had to be carried out
exactly as the LORD God commanded from what type of offering that would be used, where the
sacrifice would take place, where the blood would be sprinkled and how many times, to the
clothing the High Priest wore, the washing before the clothing was put on and after they
were removed, ALL that God had commanded was
adhered to by the High Priest. This sin
offering needed to be done year after year, as it was the only way atonement could
be made for the children of Israel. But, then
came Jesus! The Lamb of God who takes away
the sins of the world! The blood of unblemished bulls and goats were no longer acceptable
to the Lord God, thus he chose a more excellent plan.
One that wouldnt have to be done year after year, but only once. In the form of His only begotten son, to the
world, the LORD God gave the greatest sacrifice, and with the shedding of HIS blood, ONLY
ONCE, atonement would be made for the sins of the people then, and the sins of those who
followed. Those who would REPENT by turning away from their sins and
turning back to the Lord. Who would confess
and believe on the Lord Jesus, and accept the gift of eternal life through Him. For HE who knew NO sin, took the weight of ours and shed his blood that we
may be forgiven, giving HIS life that we may live. Without
the shedding of HIS blood, we would have received the penalty of eternal death, but
THROUGH the shedding of His blood, we may now
receive the gift of Eternal Life. For the
wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life THROUGH Jesus Christ our
Lord. (Rom 6:23) Standing in the presence of Pontius Pilate, as lies were hurled
against him through the mouths of his accusers, he uttered not a word in self defense. Stripped of His clothing and beaten beyond human
recognition, as the skin on his back literally hung in an unrecognizable mass, With every drop of His blood, came
healing and the remission of sins. Led away
to be Crucified, the walk to the place called Calvary must have been a
torturous one as he stumbled under the weight of the heavy cross he was to bear for you,
for me, for the world. Every step no doubt
was extremely painful, his vision becoming blurred as the blood poured down his head from
the crown of thorns, yet so very precious was the Blood, for With every drop of His blood came
healing and the remission of sins. Unbearable
pain, as the massive nails were hammered into his hands and his feet, hanging there in the
presence of those who mocked him and shamefully mistreated Him, while the blood poured
out, but With every drop of His blood
came healing and the remission of sins. Every
bone is out of joint, his body gives in to the pain, he cries out Father, forgive them,
for they know not what they do while they continue to mock and cast lots
for his clothing. The pain is now
indescribable, absolutely unbearable, he cries out with a loud voice Father, into thy hands I
commend my spirit and gives up the ghost.
They check to see if hes indeed dead, although the custom was to break
the bones in the legs, they instead pierced his side with a sword, and watched as the
blood poured out. And, With every drop of His blood came
healing and the remission of sins. Horrible pain both physically and emotionally, shame, utter humiliation, absolute torture, mockery, separation from the Father, the shedding of HIS precious blood, ALL done so that you and I may live! Live without condemnation, live without the pain of being separated from the Father, live ETERNALLY with Him! Are we truly thankful? Let us prove it in truly repenting of our sins, in turning away from all that is not of Him and turn to all that is in total and complete surrender. Let us accept that which cannot be earned, cannot be purchased, but only received as a gift through accepting and confessing Him, salvation and eternal life. Let us keep His commandment to LOVE one another as HE has LOVED us, putting away all manner of evil, strife, bitterness, hate, unkindness, and the deadly tongue of gossip towards one another for none of these things are of God, and all who practice such have NOT the Father and have NEVER known Him. For the world will know we are His disciples IF and ONLY IF, we have Love one for another! Let us remember the price that he paid, the shedding of HIS blood, for With every drop of His blood came healing and the remission of sins. THANK YOU JESUS!!
THANK YOU BELOVED SAVIOR AND LORD!! I love you all so very much. Have a blessed week in the Lord and remember: Whatever we do, do ALL for the GLORY of GOD, who ALONE is worthy of the GLORY and the PRAISE! May the peace of the Lord be with you today and always .
