This Weeks Message- (scripture taken from King James Version) "THE VALUE OF WISDOM" My
son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee; so that thou
incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; yea, if thou criest
after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; if thou seekest her as
silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; then shalt thou understand the fear of
the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For
the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is
a buckler to them that walk uprightly. He
keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and
judgment, and equity; yea, every good path. (Prov 2:1-9) My
son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: for length of days, and
long life, and peace shall they add to thee. Let
not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of
thine heart: so shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean
not unto thine own understanding. In all thy
ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Prov 3:1-6) Happy
is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the
merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are
not to be compared unto her. Length of days
in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon
her: and happy is everyone that retaineth her.
(Prov 3:13-18) Wisdom
is defined here in Prov. 3:14-15 as being more precious, more valuable than silver, fine
gold, and rubies. By far it cannot be
compared to anything that one may possess. It
is a great and most needed gift in the life of a believer and yet, it is the most lacked
gift within the church, within the Body of Christ. It
is not a gift lacked due to shortage, but is lacked because not many seek for it, not many
cry out to the Lord for it, not many chase after it as they do for other things. Many seek for a quick resolution to a problem, but
ask not for wisdom from the Lord that may help to alleviate the problem. Oftentimes the answer lies right before you, but
without spiritual wisdom, youll keep seeking elsewhere for a solution, and finding
none. If
you seek for great wealth and obtain it, what good will it do if you have not wisdom? For wisdom will show you how to not only obtain prosperity, but how to maintain as well and to use it wisely. Wealth in the hands of the unwise will leave him
in ruins, for he would not spend that which has been given to him wisely but foolishly,
and would be worse off in the end than he was in the beginning. Therefore, before one should ask for wealth, let
him ask for wisdom first that when prosperity is obtained, he may utilize it for the Glory
of God! If
you seek for success in Ministry and obtain it, what good will it do if you have not
wisdom and furthermore an anointing. For
wisdom will help you in discerning not only the WORD of God, but the WILL of God. A ministry in the hands of the unwise and carnal
is dangerous, for such can very well lead an entire flock of sheep to slaughter. To preach the word of God is a good work and
beautiful are the feet of those who preached the Gospel however, it cannot be done
successfully without wisdom. For wisdom
removes ALL OF SELF, and allows the Holy Spirit to do the work through him/her. Wisdom surrenders ALL to the Lord, and the unwise
surrenders a portion and retains the rest. Wisdom
waits for confirmation in the spirit before speaking and the unwise speaks before
thinking. Wisdom speaks of the TRUTH as given
by the Holy Spirit in ALL things, and the unwise speaks that which they believe is desired
to be heard for ill profit gain. Wisdom seeks
to edify, strengthen and build up the church while the unwise seeks to entertain the
church. Wisdom seeks to glorify GOD, and the
unwise seeks to be GLORIFIED. Wisdom seeks
for the WILL of God, while the unwise seeks for the will of MAN. Therefore, before one should ask for a successful
ministry, let him/her ask for wisdom first. That
you may KNOW what is the perfect will of God and DO IT!
If
you seek for the knowledge of this world and obtain it, what good will it do if you have
not spiritual wisdom. For
knowledge learned through textbooks is USELESS when you come against spiritual warfare. You cannot successfully fight the wickedness of
the enemy with the things youve learned from the world and its system. Your worldly knowledge would be of no threat to
him, your degrees would be of no threat to him, your skills would be of no threat to him,
ONLY the NAME of JESUS and YOUR FAITH would be a threat to him and such cannot be learned
through your worldly schooling. Therefore,
seek spiritual wisdom FIRST and obtain TRUE KNOWLEDGE!
The
fear of the Lord is the BEGINNING of KNOWLEDGE. Those
who reverence the LORD GOD, has sought wisdom, and has RECEIVED IT! May those who have received, CLING to The Value of Wisdom. Hold tight and keep a firm grip, for you have
obtain a most PRICELESS GIFT that is greater than all the possessions in the world. For those who lack wisdom, SEEK that you may FIND! For wisdom is not bias, does not have favorites,
but is available for ALL who cries out for it; ALL
who diligently seeks for it; for it is the Lords desire to give wisdom to ALL who
asks for it. The Value of Wisdom cannot be compared to the things of this world. One who has wisdom, KNOWS The Lord God for again, the BEGINNING of WISDOM is when one REVERENCE THE LORD!I love you all so very much. Have a blessed week in the Lord and remember: Whatever we do, do ALL for the GLORY of GOD, who ALONE is worthy of the GLORY and the PRAISE! May the peace of the Lord be with you today and always .
