“SPIRITUAL WISDOM DURING PERILOUS TIMES”

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.   For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures MORE than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof from such turn away.  For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.   Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.”  (2^nd Tim 3:1-8)

Surely, these must be the Last days our brother, The Apostle Paul spoke of here in the book of 2^nd Timothy for we are indeed living in perilous times.  There is no denying that the descriptions given above here in scripture are what we are facing now in this present life.  The prophecies written so long ago, are truly being made manifest before our very eyes as evidence the Lord’s word will NOT return to him void.  And according to the Word of God, the state of the world will not get better but rather the present troubles of the world would increase all the more as the Lord declared in the 24^th chapter of the book of Matthew concerning coming events and destruction of which we are witnessing today, “All these are the BEGINNING of sorrows.”  Yet, we as believers have the BLESSING of knowing what lies ahead (concerning the things that are coming upon the earth), and the end results having no need to despair or become fearful of what our physical eyes have and shall see.   For our hope, faith and trust shall be in the Lord and HE alone who is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and End of ALL things!   Thus, as these perilous times increase, it would NOT be the time for any believer to cower in fear and confusion over the state of the world, as the Lord has withheld NOTHING but warned of such to come in His Holy Written Word.  Therefore no true believer should feel as if he/she has been “left in the dark” as the things to come should catch none by surprise. Now, and up until the “calling away” of the church, EVERY professing believer MUST guard his/her mind, bind himself to the TRUTH of the Word of God and receive NO other doctrine than that which you’ve learned according to scripture.  As The Lord has spoken “And many false prophets shall rise, and DECEIVE MANY”  Such, has already began thus you must NOT receive every word spoken of man, but test and try EVERY spirit with the Word of God to determine whether or not what has been spoken is of TRUTH.  For the enemy has and will not stop at anything to attempt to deceive the heart of man/woman.  Concern yourself not with those who are outside of the body, for you already know the intentions of those who serve the world.  But, be spiritually cautious of some who are “WITHIN”, and if there be any doctrine taught CONTRARY to the Holy Scriptures, separate yourself immediately from the lie posing as truth BEFORE it has opportunity to take root.  For there are many within the body of Christ whose words are inspired NOT by The Holy Spirit, but inspiration comes from the deceitfulness of their own flesh, and the desire to DECEIVE for ill gotten gain, with the end results being that many are led away from the spiritual knowledge of the truth and into foolishness, lies and ultimately spiritual decay.  These are such of whom The Apostle spoke of “having a FORM of godliness, but DENYING the POWER thereof from such turn away”  These men/women who have the “outward appearance”  as “ministers of the light” are truly working for the power of darkness being actual enemies of the Cross.  Do not look upon the outward with the belief that if one “looks” holy (by all outward appearance), thus he must be…DO NOT BE DECEIVED for it is not the outward that has any value, it is the inward for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, thus you MUST test the speech.  Not for eloquence and skill, not for a simple display of words, but for TRUTH!  Therefore, it is imperative that you KNOW the truth that you may expose the lie.  For if you know NOT what is written, you are MORE susceptible to be swept away being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine.  As many are at present going from one doctrine to the next, surrendering to what SOUNDS good and pleasing to the natural ears, yet EVER LEARNING, but NEVER able to come to the knowledge of THE TRUTH!  Seek the WORD my beloved brothers and sisters and allow it to saturate your minds and hearts that you may be prepared and able to stand AGAINST the lies and tricky, cunning craftiness of the wicked enemy.  His deceit has only just begun, therefore grasp hold of the wisdom of God and LEARN from Him as we will not be able to stand nor spiritually fight against what lies ahead by the use of our own limited head knowledge.  For the things that are coming, will have the “natural” mind baffled. ONLY by the knowledge of God’s word would one be spiritually able to discern the signs of the times. 

Keep watch, pray for one another especially for those in spiritual leadership as the enemy seeks to keep the truth hidden, encourage the spiritually weak, turn from the “wisdom” of this world and SEEK “Spiritual Wisdom during Perilous times” and always.  And ABOVE ALL, walk in Godly Love being tenderhearted, sharing, caring and serving one another with joy and pureness of heart.   RECEIVE one another IN LOVE as Christ has received and LOVED you.   Keep the TRUTH of the Light burning brightly within you that ALL may see, and receive. 

“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.”  (Rev 3:11)
