I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.This Weeks Message- (scripture taken from King James Version)

"A TIME AND SEASON FOR ALL THINGS"

“TO EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON, AND A TIME TO EVERY PURPOSE UNDER HEAVEN:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;

A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew, a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”

(Eccl 3:1-8)

“A Time and Season for All Things…..”  No matter what the circumstances are in our lives, or the things going on in the world today, God has a reason, a purpose, and a plan for everything.  He is ALL KNOWING, ALL SEEING, ALMIGHTY, He is the BEGINNING and END to all things.   Nothing gets past him unnoticed and he knows of the outcome, BEFORE the event!  This we must remember when we are in a season of “drought”, a season of “difficulties”, a season of “tribulation”.  Before it is question, let it be acknowledged that in the midst of the storm, there is a purpose and a plan, there is a season of transition for ALL.

Solomon, the author (under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit) of the book of Ecclesiastes said it well and many in “The Church” have often quoted these words when facing certain situations and circumstances in their lives “There’s a time and season for all things”.  Today, members of the Body of Christ are in the season of “Transition”.  Every believer will go through this period of transition during his/her walk with the Lord whether we like it or not, as nothing remains the same even our faith, as this to grows and increases during the season of transition.  During this period, there are some that will grow very rapidly, some will grow at a slower pace and then there may be some who will not grow at all.  It all depends on ones acceptance or rejection to the Lord God’s way to “GROWTH”.

Consider a baby.  When it is born it is vulnerable, small and timid, solely dependant upon the nurturing, the Love and WISDOM of his parent.  He can do nothing of himself, for even to be fed he must trust his mother to give him milk.  To keep him warm, the child must rely on the parent to clothe him.  If he were to reject the wisdom of his parent, he would remain as it were when he was first born, frail, timid, and most vulnerable.  But, if He receives the wisdom of his parent and accepts that which is given him, he will begin to grow.   Daily, he is in a season of transition.   His appearance will begin to change, and he will become more alert and aware of his surroundings.  He becomes aware of the sound of his parents voice, and responds to it almost immediately.  During this transition period, he will move from and infant to a toddler and during this stage will learn to take his first steps.  This is a most exciting time for both the parent and the child, for he will no longer need to be carried to and fro, but will soon be able to walk on his own.  However, this to is a delicate and much needed period of transition for he isn’t able upon his first try to stand and immediately begin walking without falling or clutching something to stabilize his position.  No, during this time he will stumble, he will fall, may even bruise himself and although the parent may desire to race to his aide she knows that in order for him to be successful in this period of growth, he must get up and try again.  His confidence builds as he notices the watchful and loving eyes of his parents as they encourage him to try again.  With many attempts, he will eventually walk with an ease and would have successfully pass through this period and season of transition.  If his parent will not allow this period of growth, but consistently picks him up and carries him about, then although his feet may have the ability to walk, his desire would remain to be carried.  “THERE IS A TIME TO STAND, AND A TIME TO BE CARRIED….”  This season of transition continues from a toddler, to adolescent, to teenager, and finally to the maturity of a man and yet even then, he will continue to grow as he accepts God’s pattern of growth….

So it is with every born again believer only our growth is not that of the flesh, but that of the spirit.  From the moment we said YES to the gift of salvation through our acceptance of The Lord Jesus Christ, we began our season of transition.  We start off as little babies, yet it is not our Father’s intentions that we remain as such.  Just as a child matures physically and mentally, we must mature SPIRITUALLY and the transition may not be an easy one, but it is a most NECESSARY one.  Just as the infant may stumble and fall during the transition of standing to his feet, and moving to his first steps, we to may stumble and fall but MUST get back up again remembering that the watchful and loving eyes of our Father is upon us and He is encouraging our every step.  Thus we can have the confidence and faith as that of a child we when begin our first steps.  However, we must not stop here but must continue to allow the Holy Spirit to take us through this transition period.  There will be times when the growth is excruciating and there may be a desire to stop walking, to no longer stand, to be carried but we must not give in to the pain of growth.  This is a time we MUST lean upon the WISDOM of our Father, and learn of the Holy Spirit the lesson given in the pain, that we may grow into maturity.  If we reject his wisdom, just as a child would reject it’s mother’s milk, we will not grow but will remain feeble, and vulnerable.  This season of transition is necessary, that we may come out of being called “Children of God”, and begin living the title of being called “SONS AND DAUGHTERS” of God, for a SON is growing into maturity and able to feed upon the nourishment of meat, while a child is still sipping upon the milk.

Yes, there is “A Time and Season for All Things” and for the believer we are in the Season of Transition…. Receive it joyfully, reject not the wisdom of the Lord.  Learn from trial, MOVE ON to the next level.  Remain NOT an infant, but begin to grow into the maturity of a SON or Daughter of the most High God.  This is the will of our Father…..

I love you all so very much. Have a blessed week in the Lord and remember: Whatever we do, do ALL for the GLORY of GOD, who ALONE is worthy of the GLORY and the PRAISE!

May the peace of the Lord be with you today and always…….
